Heirloom Block of the Month Club

In this club you will learn your embroidery machine. You learn how to mark your blocks and get them set up. You learn how to reposition and work with all of your hoops.  You will learn how to relax and have fun with your embroidery.  If you have one of the new machines and you have design positioning you become an expert with this feature.  You will have all kinds of help if you like having it when you are selecting colors for your designs and of course there is always the positive reinforcement that we all give each other as your quilt progresses along.  It is a great way to learn and in the end you have a beautiful quilt!

The year for this club begins in February but you can join at any time and the fee for the club is pro-rated.

Members continue to work on machine embroidered quilts some of which are the Latte Quilt designed by Kerrie Hay, or Aqua Marine by Simon Haskins and Jenny Haskins, or a Pieced block quilt with Jenny Haskins designs designed by me, or a Wedding Ring quilt also designed by me, and soon we will be deciding on a new quilt to be started.  We have started working Summer Wine another quilt byJenny Haskins.  Perfect Bliss by Jenny Haskins is another Quilt that is being done.  Block Party has come back so if you have the cd to do this quilt please bring it in to show me and off you go to create this beautiful quilt that is a great quilt to start with.   Working on one of these quilts on your embroidery machine helps you not only learn how to use your machine but also you will learn how to line up designs and accurately place them so that the pieces of a puzzle go back together.  If you are lucky to have a Majestic Hoop then you will learn how to work with that hoop and use your design positioning to line things up.  No matter which machine you have you learn a lot in this class. Come on down and find out what we are doing in this club to help you learn how to get the most out of your Embroidery Machine.
